We were relaxing in the mountains one day when a dear friend called me and said, “hey, I heard you guys are building a mini mansion. Do you need any furniture or knick knacks for it? Cause I’m here with a friend that is needing to get rid of a bunch of stuff…You can have it if you want.”
After receiving a few pictures, we RACED down the mountain to beat the looming rain cloud. With my Enclave, Todd’s Truck and a 14′ trailer, we arrived to find that we were talking about a lot more ‘stuffs’ than we had imagined.
Chairs, tables, hutches, painting, silk plants, planter, books, trash cans, candle holders, vases, clocks, stone and iron decorations, gas heaters, bar stools, 4 post king size bed… before we knew it, we had loaded up my car, his truck, the 14′ trailer, and had extra help from the guy with the uhaul truck. Granted most of it is not pictured here because we had to wrap and stash everything to make room for the 30 doors and thousands of feet worth of trim board… but we are well on our way to decorating our little mini mansion. Now, we may need to start building it soon.
We took everything to our house after we left their home. At this point, we needed to rent a storage space. I wasn’t there for the second trip. These pictures only show half of the items.
