I'm big on understanding WHY something works. This book truly helped me to connect the dots and understand WHY stretching and holding possess or breathing deep in poses helps you. The idea of a twist 'wringing out toxins' was great, but why? Is that a thing? I was hooked when the author pointed out that same point!
I bought a paper copy so that I could reference the pages if I need a reminder of why I'm doing something. Also, because the digital copy I started with isn't necessarily laid out well to soak it all up on a tablet.
The imagery is great if you want to really see why a pose works. This book truly made a HUGE impact on my health.
